As the Vegas Golden Knights embark on the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Tuesday, the team got a special message from a special fan.

"You gotta play with your heart," said 8-year-old Annabelle Hanson in a video posted by the team on Twitter. "Everything that you need is inside your heart."

Hanson - who was born with Cystic Fibrosis - lived out her dream to play for the Golden Knights back in January thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

During her visit with the team, she signed a one-day contract, then hit the ice for practice with her teammates. The next day, she attended the game at T-Mobile Arena and was even introduced in the starting lineup.

Although her contract has since expired, she will always have her Knight For Life status and of course has all the faith in the world in her team.

"I think they have that much of a chance of winning the Stanley Cup," she said in the video, reaching her arm all the way up to the sky.
