TNT answered the question everyone has been asking for weeks.

The identity of Gordo St. John was revealed in a new TNT commercial for the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Tuesday.

At the beginning of April, NHL teams tweeted out a video of players and the TNT crew hyping up the skills of St. John with the caption "Who is Gordo St. John?"

Actor David Harbour plays St. John, who is a "fixer" on the set of the NHL on TNT in the new commercial.

St. John wreaks havoc on the set, setting off a blow horn to scare the hosts and dropping pinecones on Paul Bissonnette and Anson Carter.

He ends the commercial setting off fireworks and sounding a siren while Liam McHugh, Bissonnette and Carter are having a discussion at the desk.

"This has nothing to do with hockey," Carter shouts over the noise.

"This has everything to do with hockey," St. John shouts back.

It looks like this is only the start of St. John's shenanigans at TNT.
