Monumental Investment in D.C. The $800+ million arena project will keep the Wizards and Capitals in downtown D.C. until at least 2050. Pardon Our Progress We’re building a brand new building inside and out. The arena transformation will be completed in six phases, with the heaviest work during summer shutdowns of the building, through Summer 2027. Elevated Gameday Amenities We’re adding 65% more concessions space, 30% more restrooms, an expanded main entrance, wider concourses and an expansive new food and beverage experience. The United Globe Club & Lounge, opening for the 2025-26 season, will offer a level of premium service and hospitality unlike anything seen before in the Nation's Capital. The most dynamic hospitality experience in sports and entertainment will feature two new club spaces, each offering its unique all-inclusive experience just steps from the ice.Whether soaring in the clouds or floating under the stars, these combined 24,000+ square feet of luxury provide the most exquisite premium seating experience in sports and entertainment.
Opening for the 2025-26 season, the United Globe Club & Lounge will celebrate the spirit of travel and adventure with an immersive journey to a destination where timeless design meets modern luxury. From the moment you step inside, the journey is effortless. Capitals VIP Members will enjoy a private entrance on sixth street (coming Fall 2026), opening 30 minutes before the rest of the arena. Whether arriving via complimentary parking or Uber ride credits, guests are greeted at an exclusive welcome lobby, where our VIP concierge team stands ready to elevate every moment. Throughout the game, access to the United Globe Club & Lounge is seamless, with four entry points connecting you from event level and main concourse. First-Class Leg Room With space for 800+ guests, the United Globe Club will be 30% larger than any existing VIP hospitality space in the arena. More of Everything The Globe Club features 50% more seating than our existing VIP Club, plus 16 private restrooms and 145 feet of food service space. Curated Premium Experience Thoughtful, fan-first planning ensures every detail of the space enhances the guest journey, providing effortless access to amenities without detracting from game action.
