COL@STL: Suter celebrates recent miletsone with family, teammates

Ryan Suter's own version of the Fantastic Four helped out the St. Louis Blues celebrate the defenseman's 1,500th NHL game on Sunday.

The Suter kids Brooks, Avery, Parker and Beau, joined the team in the locker room to read out the starting lineups before a game against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday.

Suter, the nephew of former Stanley Cup champion and 1986 Calder Trophy winner Gary Suter, is just the 22nd player in NHL history to reach the 1,500 game milestone, which he eclipsed back on February 7.

The team played a tribute video to his lengthy career that included stops with the Nashville Predators, Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars before joining the Blues this offseason. The team also showered him with the gifts as well. Blues GM Doug Armstrong presented him with a custom painting.

But the real gift had to be seeing his little ones read out the lineups. The scene of course ended in a big hug from dad.
